Band Biography

Helicopter Collective is a band based out of Morgantown, WV that performs in local and regional area clubs, concerts, and special event venues. Performances include bi-annual Bike Week shows at various events and clubs in Myrtle Beach, SC and regional venues, regional Summer Concert Series, the annual Lennon Thing tribute show, concerts at Mylan Park, McQuain Amphitheater and Summer Festivals to name a few.

Their music is comprised of multiple facets of Rock, Blues, Reggae, R&B, Funk, Covers and Originals that appeals to wide-range audiences. Helicopter Collective has been described as a collection of accomplished musicians and vocalists who are creative, diverse and relate well to all audiences.

Members of Helicopter Collective have opened and/or performed on stage with local, regional, and national recording artists such as Donnie Iris, Chicago, Orleans, Humble Pie, Head East, Patty Page, Robert Cray, Koko Taylor, Robby Steinhardt (Kansas violinist), Rick Allen (Def Leppard drummer), Jason Bonham (son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham), Blue Oyster Cult, Johnny Winter,  the Dixie All Stars and more.
